MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- A jury has convicted three men in the 2009 killing of a 19-year-old college student in Memphis.
University of Memphis sophomore Tederrial "TK" Hancock was shot several times in the neck as he sat in his car in a branch library parking lot.
The Commercial Appeal (http://bit.ly/PhaDqd) reported 19-year-old Lavino Horne, 21-year-old Charles McClain and 20-year-old Leterpa Mosley were convicted Friday of first-degree murder in the case. All three automatically face a sentence of life in prison.
Prosecutor Ray Lepone had called the crime an execution. Defense attorneys had argued that the shooting wasn't planned.
